Magazine Front Cover Deconstructions

Fonts: There are 3 fonts on this front cover page and 2 stylesone is very rustic because parts have been rubbed out and has ruff edges this font has been used for the main header and extra information. While the information such as free give aways has been put in a very simple clean easy to read text meaning they are easy to read when glancing over the magazine rack in a shop.

Colour scheme: The photograph is in black and white due to this it means the texts stands out really clearly but at the same time it doesn't over power the image. They have only used 3 colours blue white and gold as to not clutter it with colour and make it look messy.

Layout: In some way the layout of this front cover is very unconventional because the contense and infomation is down the right hand side rather then the left were if aranged on a magazine rack would be the area showing a possible reason for why they have done this is because BB King is so famous and iconic by simple showing his face will be a bigger reason to pick up the magazine. The have also chosen to place his hair over the title Blues this is significant because it shows the magazine has a big enough reputation not to need to show there main header/

Photograph: The photographer is in black and white with a solid black background because of this it adds. emphasising the smoke coming from the cigaret and the white strings and frets on the guitar. He is looking away from the camera to the side this makes him look very relaxed and shows he really doesn't need to concentrate on playing the guitar but he is just chilled.
