Research into popular Magazine and what makes them so good

I conducted some research into how many people read music magazines and if not why and if they do what they read and why they choose that one. From this research I can conclude the internet has had a effect because it is free and tailed to you choice of music but if people do read a magazine it tends to be either Q or NME so i know these must be done to a very high standard and are successful the reason people mostly said is it suits the genre of music there in to and the general style it is laid out in.
